Voting Rights Voting should be an easily accessible thing to everybody Minorities, seniors, women, and military personal are in danger of not being able to vote because of voter ID laws Voter ID laws are under the pretense of preventing voter-straud (only 0.08% of the entire population)
Environment Democrats want to create a “greener” society by curbing greenhouse gases and CO2 admissions into the air which will also create new jobs. Global warming is a serious issue Also believe that there should be stricter standards for energy industries
Civil Rights Support the full repeal of Defense of Marriage Act and the Employment Non- Discrimination Act to fight These discrimination can include race, sex, ethnicity, national origin, language, and religion.
Education “No Child Left Behind Act” Provide teachers with support and resources “Race to the Top” which increases standards and also issuing student loans
Science and Technology Scientific research plays an important rule in advancing science and technology. Want to invest in technology jobs of the future while increasing support for students.
