It is your bags and go! There's lots to do on St Lucia. St LUCIA S RIAN FOREST HAS AN AREA WHERE YOU CAN GO Biking. The beaches are very warm but that's okay because you can swim. The pitons are 2000 ft. off the sea. On the beaches the sea is so clear you can see fish you are not aloud to see. Many homes have solar panels so you are not wasting as much electricity as you think. They have a tropical storm every few years. So why don't you go there soon. HURRICANE HITS ! On the first of November 2010 Hurricane Tomas rips through St Lucia. They think it will cost millions of pounds to fix the houses, cars and roads! Twelve people where killed in this terrible disaster. St Lucia is in the middle of the Caribbean sea. Its terrible. Have you ever wondered what a hurricane does. Don’t get confused between hurricanes and tornadoes. Hurricanes last for days but tornadoes last for minutes. You will probably get hurricanes between June and November. Planes drive into them to see how strong they are. The sea must be very hot to make a hurricane. They could hit all the Caribbean islands at the same time. What will it do next! Hurricane Tomas has caused so much damage to St Lucia! Bridges where falling into the water and making floods. Roofs where flying around every where and hitting towers. Houses were falling off cliffs and exploding! Roads are splitting and cars are falling through the roads. People are having to get around in boats, or swimming. People can not out of there houses because rocks have fallen. I'm glad I was not in it. e Hurricanes
