Early Lifestyle (c. 1550, generalized)  Moderate climate, lots of rain, rivers, forests.  Lived in wigwams (saplings and bark)  Tools of bone or stone tend to gardens (kept close to home, full of corn, beans, squash) o Lakes and rivers = Fishing for food, cattail plants to insulate wigwam, making pots from clay from the riverbank, canoe transportation o Society broken into classes, included a Chief and nobility o Clothing made of animal (deer) hide, decorated with porcupine quills, “wampum” beads/shells, and lots of body paint
