“Keep Our Cash In the Classroom!”

Turn off your lights by the light switch when leaving the room. Do not depend on the occupancy sensor to turn off your lights. Turn off your projector by remote when you leave to go to lunch or when not in use for more than 10 minutes.

COMPUTERS. Turn ALL off daily before leaving. MONITORS. Turn ALL off. Monitors are not considered off if the amber light is on. PRINTERS AND SCANNERS. Turn ALL off. Network printers serving others should not be turned off. COMPUTER LABS. Turn off ALL computers and monitors. Some are plugged into power strips. It is not required to unplug power strips. Stand alone printers in Computer Labs should be turned off. Network printers should remain on.

TVs and VCRs. Turn ALL off DAILY. Front Row Amplifier Systems. Turn off DAILY. The collar will charge as long as the Front Row Transmitter is plugged in. OTHER PLUG LOADS. Personal items such as radio/cd players, lamps, picture players, pencil sharpeners, anything electrical. Turn ALL off daily. Unplug these for weekends and extended leave periods.
