2. Turn Off The Lights Switch off the lights when you leave the room.
Try putting stickers on the lights in school to remind you to turn them off

Turn off appliances when not in use. Leaving appliances on stand-by still uses energy so remember to switch them off.

Turning down the thermostat by 1°C can reduce your heating bill by 10%

5. Turn Off The Taps
A dripping hot water tap wastes energy and in one week wastes enough hot water to fill half a bath.
So try fix leaking taps and make sure they are fully turned off!

Have an ‘energy monitor’ in your school and monitor the energy use in your school.
