Information  The Outer Core is the second to the last layer of the earth. It is a magma like liquid layer that surrounds the inner core.

Temperature  The Outer Core is about degrees Celsius. The inner core is so hot it melts the magma in the Outer Core to liquid

What does the Outer core do?  If the outer core was not here life would very different. Scientist believe that if we didn’t have the outer core we wouldn’t have a magnetic filed.

Fun facts Monkey  It is hot in the outer core that the iron and minerals turn to liquid. It also protects he earth from solar winds.
