Sophomore Presentation

Assignment  You will be giving a 5 minute speech and Power Point presentation.  The topic is: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Presentation Guidelines  In your presentation, you will provide the following information:  Where your chosen destination is located  History on your location including information on the people who live there, the food that is produced/eaten there, the religion practiced there, the type of government that exists, etc.  Attractions and appeals of your location  Photos of your location  A clear explanation of why you would like to travel to this location

Presentation  Your presentation must be 5 minutes in length.  You may use cue cards while you are presenting.  You must explain any visual aids that you use, not just show pictures.  Your speech may not be written out on the slides of your Power Point.  You will have class time to work on this, but you must also work on this assignment at home.  Presentations will begin next Monday and continue through Friday (if necessary).
