Word Within the Word Vocabulary

Vocabulary Flashcards and Info  You will be assessed on vocabulary approximately every other week, generally on Fridays.  Spend at least 10 minutes a day learning your stems and words.  Vocabulary assessments are cumulative, meaning that List 34 tests Lists 31-34, not just List 31.  Your first assignment for vocabulary is flashcards.  Flashcards are (usually) due the Wednesday after they are assigned. Check my website or your agenda for due dates!

Flashcards Using 3x5 index cards and markers, you will create your flashcards as follows: 1.Write one stem on each card in the color of your choice. 2.In the same color, write the corresponding definitions on the reverse side. 3.Using the same color as the stem, and at least one other color, write the word on one side of another card. (You may choose to put all 4 pieces of info on one card.) 4.Write the definition of the word on the opposite side. 5.Add the list number to the front side of the card.
