Introductory Paragraph The Five Paragraph  Thesis Statement  Three Pronged Thesis  Clear statement of main points  Listing of main points encouraged The Five Part  Broad Overview of the Topic  Thesis Statement  Avoid Lists!

First Body Paragraph The Five Paragraph  Explaining the first prong of your thesis  Traditionally 4-6 sentences long  Your strongest point The Five Part  Explore the topic of the paper  Familiarize the reader with the topic  Overview of the essay

Second Body Paragraph The Five Paragraph  Explain the second prong of your thesis  Your second strongest argument The Five Part  Arguments for your thesis statement  Use this section to explain why you are right!
