Case Study: Through the acquisition of Guinness the traditional operating model manufacturing and distribution changed to include on premise service and delivery. Additionally, the timing of the projects was critical due to the fact that a substantial portion of the funding for the Guinness acquisition was based on the sale of the ‘Green Giant’ and ‘Haagen Das’ brands to General Mills. The scale and diversity of such opposing projects was challenging to say the least.
