Stick Insects Carausias Morosus

A stick insect looks like a stick and can camouflage itself very well. APPEARANCE

LOCOMOTION A stick insect only walks around at night so it doesn’t get eaten by its enemies.

DIET The stick insect because it lives on trees. If there are lots of stick insects on one tree the leaves will disappear quickly.

HABITAT A stick insect lives on trees because it looks like a stick, otherwise it would be easy to spot and it would get eaten.

LIFE CYCLE First the stick insect hatches out of its egg, then it starts moulting and then changes colour and lays eggs itself.

ENEMIES The enemies of a stick insect are birds, mice, lizards and rats.
