There are 3 basic goals of all Communication Advertising Recognition Retention Recognition Everything you create in this class and for real world business should meet these communication goals.

RECOGNITION This goal is used to grab the audience’s attention. How well does your communication stand out and get the attention of your desired audience? Why do you think I placed this picture in the lesson here?

RETENTION This goal deals with how well your communication is remembered. Music and slogans are often used to help an idea stay in a person’s mind. What is a slogan or “jingle” for this company?

REACTION This goal tells the audience what to do in response to your communication. Without the instruction and information for the audience to REACT to your communication is ineffective. What are the reaction instructions in this flyer? Where are they located?
