Oil can only be produced at a very slow rate causing prices to sky rocket and oil reserves to dwindle. Oil is a necessary material for todays society and when it eventually runs out we need to be prepared.

1.According to data complied by US publication Wards Auto, the world vehicle population topped one billion for the first time ever in The worlds oil resource will run out in ten years time 3.Oil has been used for over 5000 years 4.45% of crude oil is comprised in gasoline 5.America consumed more oil than any other country 20 million barrels per day

The problem of our fuels running out in 10 years could be solved with the use of wild grass. It can be solved because of the follows reason e.g. It is renewable commodity It can use the same engines as we use today It can be converted from grass into ethanol We have a large supply of this plant It can be re grown when we are low
