2 UNCLASSIFIED 24 Aug 09 JLLWG Wrap-up Challenges –The flow of information between agencies –“We had an exercise and there were observations…were they entered?” –Information turnaround – collection of information, accomplishing the analysis, validation and dissemination “Products and reports are only one part of the story…getting the information in and turning it around as quickly as possible is the important part.” The goal is to get the info turned around within 30 days –Collecting observations and surveys after personnel/units have returned from deployments is not easy –Interagency support to intelligence gathering is complicated

3 UNCLASSIFIED 24 Aug 09 JLLWG Wrap-up International L2 Conference –Theme: Sharing Lessons in the Multinational Interagency Environment –Barriers: disclosure polices, systems and databases JTIMS and JLLIS integration –JLLIS will establish a link to JTIMS home page –JTIMS will establish links to JLLIS to push data to JLLIS using a phased approach –JTIMS is funding all upgrades to JTIMS and JLLIS will fund JLLIS upgrades

7 UNCLASSIFIED 24 Aug 09 JLLWG Wrap-up “Our biggest challenge is measuring impact, and demonstrating that impact to the leadership and getting the word out about that impact.” Metrics and Statistics –Need each organization to submit ideas and recommendations on how to capture meaningful statistics and metrics within JLLIS –Submit ideas as CRB requirements for consideration and incorporation into JLLIS
