On the Absurdity of Spreading Democracy by the Sword “Since for a small or developing nation democracy is so easily manipulated from outside, democracy is itself a ticking time bomb of external manipulation. Thus for the United States to announce a program to democratize everyone else, democracy itself becomes a fatal weakness for any nation that values its independence.”

On the Absurdity of Spreading Democracy by the Sword For America or Russia or any power to choose your leaders is not democracy, it is foreign control. The men and women they choose will be selected to promote American or Russian interests. The less they please the people, the more loyal the must be to us. We like that.

The New Deal Revolution: Tax, Spend, and Elect New Deal Innovations Unlimited Taxation 92% top rate from 1942 to 1962 Unlimited Borrowing It speaks for itself Unlimited Laws Procedural vs Substantive Due Process

The New Deal Revolution: Tax, Spend, and Elect The result is government that buys its legitimacy, and claims almost divine prerogatives that follow from seemingly divine capacity.

Worldwide Conflict: Bringing the Match Target Russia The recent statement of Russian Security Strategy Until 2020 adds ominously the following: [T]he main threat to Russia’s national security is the policy pursued by certain leading states, which is aimed at attaining military superiority over Russia, in the first place in strategic nuclear forces.

Worldwide Conflict: Bringing the Match Professor Theodore Postol of MIT, who is among other things a consultant to the Pentagon on missile technology. The title of a recent article of his on the subject of the missiles in Poland tells enough of the story. It is entitled “The Target Is Russia.” In this and other essays he explains how ineffective antimissiles really are. Published in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. Theodore Postol, “The Target is Russia,” Bulletin of the Atomic Scientist, March 1, 2000.

Worldwide Conflict: Bringing the Match Target China Now that China has for the first time a naval dimension, control of Taiwan is essential. As long as Taiwan is in hostile hands, China’s coast is divided north and south, and whoever has access to Taiwan can launch an attack on the coast from very short range. China has no navy of consequence unless they control Taiwan, and instead they have a deep vulnerability from the sea at that point. Not having command of Taiwan, it would perhaps be more accurate to say that China does not have a navy; she has two half navies.

Law for Peace: a Common Law Basis for International Law Is there another way? The Answer: a rule of law The Problem: whose law? An Answer: the Common Law

Law for Peace: a Common Law Basis for International Law Essentials of a legal system: » Courts » Judges » Sheriffs and » Code of Law
