Professional body membership and registration Join a professional body relevant to you: – Check the application form for a full list Apply for Science Council registration at one of three levels: – Technician (RSciTech) – Scientist (RSci) – Chartered (CSci)

Professional pathways through registration QCF level 3/4 QCF level 5 / 6 QCF level 7+ BTEC, NVQ, HNC HND, FdSc, BSc MSc, PhD

How to apply RSciTech and RSci: – common application process allows you to apply for membership and registration in one go – You can submit to the Science Council, indicating which professional body you want to join – Choose between written and face-to-face assessment CSci: – You will first need to become a member and then submit your application for chartered status – Application directly to the professional body
