I NTRODUCTION Scientific names are Macropus giganteus, macropus fuliginosus, and macropus rufus. There is 4 different species including the eastern gray,western gray and red kangaroo. They are also the largest Marsupial.

W HAT D O T HEY L OOK L IKE.  They have long toe nails.  they have a pouch on there stomach.  Kangaroos have long toe nails.  They have very strong hind legs  They have very strong tails.  They have very large feet

B EHAVIOR Kangaroos live in groups called mobs living in groups can help the kangaroo live by finding more water and finding more food. The kangaroo can hop at speeds up to 35 miles per hour to.

B EHAVIORAL A DAPTATIONS Kangaroos learn not to fight other animals but to run away to not get hurt. Many kangaroo species learn to communicate with noise to help warn that preaters are near. Kangaroo babies stay in there mothers pouch for safety and also because they can not surfiv on there own.

F UN F ACTS A kangaroo baby is 3 oz big at birth. A kangaroo can hop farther then the length of a school bus. Some people made kangaroos box. Some people eat kangaroo meat.
