DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION  Maintenance Programme  The Department has noted and is concerned with the absence of the various maintenance programmmes. These programmmes can be categorized into 3 areas: –Day to day maintenance –Scheduled preventative maintenance –Emergency maintenance  An effective maintenance plan will enhance the asset at the same time it will contribute to effective utilization of infrastructure funding.
