Biography Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, more commonly Leonardo da Vinci was a famous Renaissance painter, a scultptor, an architect, a draftsman and engineer. He was from Tuscany in Italy. His father was a famous notary in Florence and mother was a woman from the village of Anchiano. His date of birth was the fifteenth of April When he was a child he drew a lot. His father saw boy’s talent and he took Leonardo to school Andrea Verrocchio. Leonardo da Vinci worked for Ludwik Sforza and he created a lot of great works. He was also the inventor of flying machines, musical instruments and hundreds of other things. Some experts have followed his designs for flying machine and have produced one that can fly! Leonardo da Vinci died the second of May Today his works are very popular and expensive.
