2 Background Birth name Leonardo di Ser Piero Born April 15, 1452( ) Vinci, Florence, in present-day died May 2, 1519 aged 67. Movement high renaissance works Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, The Vitruvian Man.

3 Education Da Vinci was an painter, sculptor, mathematician, geologist and writer. Considered one of the greatest painters of all time. Was educated in the studio of the renowned Florentine painter, Verrocchio. Given the best education of Florence, a major intellectual and artistic center of Italy.

4 Contributions to math Leonardo Da Vinci, was not the first to apply these ideas of geometric order and patterns to art, but he may be the most well known. Da Vinci used mathematical concepts like linear perspective, proportion and geometry in much of his artwork. Da Vinci created geometry and geometry was on the pssa’s we took yesterday.

Da Vinci also had a giant contribute to the math subject geometry. The way I see it, everything we do involves math in some way. If Da Vinci contributed in math, then he has a big affect on the way we live.

6 His Work Da Vinci is well known for the art he created.
Some of his paintings are still cherished this day. Examples of the work he did, Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and The Vitruvian Man.

7 My Opinion I personally think Da Vinci was a great artist.
He conquered many goals in his life. Was a great painter.
