Open the file and click at the top of the sheet where you want to put the Gantt chart

Click on insert Choose object

This will bring up the Object dialogue box

Click on the Create from File tab at the top

Click on Browse button to find your Gantt chart file

Choose your Gantt chart file by clicking on it… … then click on Insert

Click the Link to File box to make sure it is ticked… … then click on OK

Click on Enable Macros

Your Gantt chart will be pasted into the document…double click anywhere on it to edit it, using Excel

Your Gantt chart file is now opened in Excel…you can make any changes you wish to make

When you have finished, save the file then close Excel

Right click anywhere on your Gantt chart and then click on Update Link

Click on Enable Macros

This copy of your Gantt chart now shows the changes you have made
