The Walk  Charity Walk-a-Thon put together by the 5 schools in this district  Hosted by Lynbrook! November 16 from 3:00- 5:30pm. 3 POINTS  Participants are needed  Near location Lynbrook)  All proceeds will go to our International Project this year: Save the Schools  Help serve out food to racers and help with registration

Sunnyvale Library Book Sale  Friends of the West Valley Library book sale  Date: Friday, November 17 and Saturday November 18  Location: West Valley Library on San Tomas Aquino Road

National Family Literacy Month  November  NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)  National Family Literacy Month!  Book drive!  Books should be for infants and children through 8th grade  All books will be donated to Room to Read

Book Drive!  Books will be distributed to children and families through:  Pediatric primary care centers  Childcare centers  Schools  Other programs serving communities in need.  Dates: Friday, 11/16 – Friday, 11/30 (2 weeks)  Interact member who donates the most books will receive special recognition!

Book Drive!  Points system:  5 books = 1 point = 1 hour  BONUS: 20 books = 5 points = 5 hours  Encourage your friends to donate with you!  Not everyone has the privilege of education – help out those who do not have such an opportunity!

 Write name, address, and grade  Attach 1 dollars with paperclip  Turn in!  Deadline to turn in money is today!
