What is OSS ? Student’s initiative within their institution. Students’ club/ Society/Association registered and approved by the University, and recognized by HFI It is a platform where students themselves initiate such programs, organize and coordinate events.

What is the purpose of life??? Why are we here?? OSS: Objectives ? To create awareness among the youth about spirituality using a scientific and practical approach. To give students an exposure to great minds from various different fields of profession and perspective of Life. What is the purpose of life??? Why are we here??

OSS : The Modus Operandi Run by a student body preferably under the guidance of a faculty-coordinator/ adviser. A core council of regular members for decision making. Events will include guest lectures, workshops, Meditation programs, essay writing competitions, Group discussions, retreats and like such programs. Publicity- Posters on campus, personal invitations, social media, Sending Invites etc,. Meditation sessions to be conducted within campus. Maintaining database of introductions to Heartfulness meditation and help with integration.

OSS : A Glimpse Over the past two years since its inception the OSS clubs have had many events conducted in their respective institutes. Guest Lecture At JIIT, Noida Guest Lecture At NIT, Trichy

Structure of the club Inner structure This part is purely for core members of the club. Here, we provide the members training Based on U-Connect or Stages of Practice of HFN. These activities are ONLY for inducted club members. INDUCTION for club is done by senior members. Seniors train the Juniors. Of course with the help of local advisors/ instructors. These members will be eligible for Certificates at the end.

Structure of the club This is the General team of the club. Outer circle This is the General team of the club. This is often recognized as “Meditation-Cell”. Here, students come and go. Anyone who shows regularity in the activities of this circle is also inducted into the Core team. Here the events organized is for General student body, for anyone and everyone. All the Guest talks, HFN workshops, SDP is all for this circle. – OPEN for ALL the students.

Understanding the concept Getting a Faculty’s Support -Always prefer an Abhyasi or Prefect - Anyone interest in Meditation or Spirituality with whom you have good relation. How to start OSS in my college ? Present the kit to the authority formally and follow the procedure! Have patience OSS - Inauguration -date/ time Guest speaker/ faculty -Prepare for Grand inauguration Organizing work -Hall booking -Audio/ Video recording -Tea Snack etc, Publicity -Poster designing -Online as well as offline Follow up by making a core team -Taking feedback -President, Secretary, Treasurer Etc., Keeping it active -Regular meditation -Guest lectures -GD
