Cells Smallest unit that can perform all life processes. Basic structure of all living things.

Sense and Respond to Stimuli The stimulus is the change that affects the activity of an organism. If it is cold, they shiver and if it’s hot they sweat. This is called homeostasis.

Reproduce All organisms have the ability to reproduce. Single celled organisms like plants can asexually reproduce. This means they don’t need two parents to reproduce.

DNA Every organism’s DNA is different. DNA is made of different nucleotides.

Use Energy All organisms use energy in everyday activities. They need carbohydrates which are energy molecules and they give them energy to do things.
