Making Your Collage… What is a collage? a piece of art made by sticking many different photographs and drawings on to another piece of paper.

Instructions: You will be given a piece of paper and a magazine You must look through the magazine for pictures of things that YOU would like to explore. Cut the pictures out. When you have your pictures collected then you will begin to glue them onto the paper in an interesting way. You must also include words on your collage.

REMEMBER: We do not have a huge amount of magazines so DO NOT take pictures out of the magazines unless you are SURE that you will use them. You can also put drawings on your collage so if there is something you would like to explore but you can’t find a picture of it, you can draw it.

Rubric: Your collage must: Include pictures of the 3 main topics? (people, places, ideas) Cover the entire page with photos? There should not be big blank spaces Add in some words TRY YOUR BEST. – Neat and Organized
