Clothing changes as you age: -Single people and couples with no children *Fewer family obligations so the ability to spend more money on clothing -Families with children *Clothing need of both children and adults must be balanced *Young children grow so quickly clothes must be replaced *Clothing for special activities and sports *Teen clothing is expensive
