Turkey Fears The turkey wearily looked from side to side, sweat pouring from his (1)_______. He could have sworn he had heard Old Farmer Brown sharpening his (2)_______ ready to wield the deadly blow on a poor defenseless turkey. He could smell the stuffing being prepared by Mrs. Brown. He shivered at the thought of all that stuffing in his body. Just then, he heard a familiar whistle and knew Farmer Brown was on the move. He wore an old (3)______ (4)______ on his head and his dusty overalls smelled of manure and (5)_________. The turkey frantically looked for a place to hide and quickly chose an old (6)_______ in the corner of the barn. He closed the lid and said little turkey prayers as he heard the whistle walk past the barn and move on toward the turkey pen. When he thought the coast was clear, he crept from his hiding place and peeked around the corner. What he saw completely surprised him! All the turkeys had an extra serving of (7)_______ for dinner!
