What is RSciTech? Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) is a brand new award to provide recognition for those working in technical roles. ‘ Technicians play an invaluable role both in laboratories and wider industry. These professional registers will ensure their expertise is properly recognised by employers and the scientific community…a springboard towards further qualifications and professional development’ from the Government Minister’s address at the Science Council’s Gareth Roberts Memorial Lecture

And annually … To keep the award you need to send a CPD return to the licensing body every year. This can include internal or external training, reading and research, coaching and mentoring - anything that adds to your own personal learning in your role. There will also be a small fee every year to be re-awarded. (£20 in ASE case)
