  Men wore dress coats. The front of the jacket stopped at the waist and had two narrow coat-tails in the back.  They wore pants that were knee height with long socks.  They had overcoats worn for traveling and walking.  The men often dressed with their hair curled. They also wore wigs that were curled.  For footgear, they had a legging of leather, and top boots. Men’s fashion

  Woman mostly wore dresses and gowns.  They wore different hats like caps, small hats, and great broad- brimmed hats. The hats were made of beaver, straw, silk, and gauze.  Women wore high heels made from leather.  Some accessories they wore were gloves, muffs, scarves, and jewels.  Like men, they wore wigs when dressing up.
