TB/HIV Working Group Advocacy and Communication Objectives: Enhance visibility of TB/HIV and infection control, among HIV/AIDS stakeholders, in particular, civil society and community groups Enhance TB/HIV and infection control communication Mainstream TB/HIV and infection control into HIV campaigns

TB/HIV Working Group Ensure the key messages on TB/HIV are being disseminated to civil society and others. Promote ways that civil society can be involved in raising awareness and calling for change. - UNGASS and UNAIDS PCB Disseminate best practice and success stories so countries can learn from each other. Promote information sharing between WG members, between the WGs and the Secretariat

TB/HIV Working Group Work with civil community groups, TB/HIV activist groups, broader civil society to ensure they are informed and work toward scaling up implementation of the 12 collaborative activities. Ensure that civil society has relevant, timely information to contribute to international decision-making processes and international events such as UNGASS, UNAIDS PCB, IAS Mexico, the Stop TB Partnership regional dialogues, World AIDS and World TB Days. Identify organizations and individuals who can facilitate the involvement of national public health and medical associations in raising the awareness and issues around TB/HIV. Ensure that key messages are being disseminated at events such as UNGASS, IAS Mexico, World AIDS Day through as many different types of media as is feasible.

Work with the Stop TB Partnership and community group partners to get place in the Global Village - set of workshops (skills building, finding solutions to challenges, best practices and good models already in place, research needs and building capacity for civil society to respond)
