HUMANSPRESERVELIMITED NATURAL RESOURCES  What can HUMANS do to PRESERVE our LIMITED NATURAL RESOURCES?  HUMANS a bipedal primate mammal  PRESERVE to keep safe from injury, harm, or destruction  LIMITED restricted  NATURAL RESOUCES naturally occurring materials such as coal, fertile land, etc., that can be used by man  So basically our driving question should sound something like: What can a bipedal primate do to save our restricted naturally occurring materials that can be used by man ? (copyright th grade level )

 Life is able to advance on earth because of the enormous amount of natural resources around us. Everyday, the forests and plants ensure that we have oxygen to breathe. The lakes, and rivers make sure that we have water to drink. We rely on natural resources to provide us with the things that we need and use every day.

We can conserve water by:  Taking short showers  Collect the water you use for rinsing produce and re-use it to water houseplants.  Run your dishwasher only when it is full.  Make sure you turn off the water when you brush  Don't use the toilet as a trash can. Throw trash in the garbage and not the toilet.

 your newspapers  Stop using paper bills…Pay your bills online!  If you must print, use both sides of paper, and notepaper until it is complete on both sides.  Use a reusable tote bag when you go shopping instead of shopping bags  Grow as much plants in your backyard or even a window box…humans have created a lot of things that send out into the atmosphere, and by planting more trees, we will eliminate a lot of it from remaining in the air.

 Recycling helps us conserve resources:  Recycling helps us conserve resources: Resources, like oil (from which plastic is made), are limited. If we don’t learn to conserve them, these materials will be exhausted and will be gone by approximately the next few years. So the only ways for us to try to conserve them for a longer time, we should recycle and reuse our resources!  Recycling Helps Free Us From Clutter: If we do not recycle, garbage will just keep piling and piling until eventually, the world will be filled with garbage, and that will result in many diseases to occur, that will make life on earth a lot dirty and filled with many diseases.

 Paint with brushes or rollers instead of using spray paints to minimize harmful emissions.  Walk or ride your bike instead of driving, whenever possible.  Avoid slow-burning, smoldering fires. They produce the largest amount of pollution.  Use traps instead of rat and mouse poisons ;{

 Join a carpool or public transportation to get to work ;)  Turn off the lights if you are not in the room  RECYCLE  RECYCLE plastic bottles and cans  Use solar panels to heat your homes and offices!
