TAMERA AND MYLES BIOTECH PROJECT

BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCTS A biodegradable product is a product that is environmentally friendly like bags, eletronic devices , paper , cleaners or detergents. Biodegradable mean for some thing to break down in to the earth safely and become a part of it with out harming the environment like a plastic biodegradable bag if you throw it out it will become a part of the soil safely and environmentally. The porpoise of a biodegradable product is to help keep the environment clean and pollutant free One of the good things about biodegradable products is that it is environmentally friendly and safe for disposal one of the bad things is it cost a little more than your every day products.

PLASTIC MADE FROM CORN Biodegradable plastic made from corn . Plastic that is biodegradable but not using up the oil supply. Propose is to use biodegradable plastics from corn to save the petroleum supply Its a renewable resource but its not recyclable

MICROBES USED FOR BIOREMEDIATION it is the process of using microorganisms to clean up oil and gas spills the propose is to prevent pollution in environments The good part about bioremediation is that it keeps environments clean and healthy They do not work well at sea or in the oceans

Methane gas as energy source! Methane gas is used to power generators that make electricity. Methane gas is pretty much gas coming from your body or from any thing and every thing that people expel. PROS: methane gas is a popular fuel source. CONS: it is very hard to transport

Ethanol(Biofuel) Ethanol is a liquid added to gasoline to mix and to create less pollution from exhaust. The purpose is to cut down on c02 pollution from cars It reduces less pollution It takes more energy to produce than the motor fuel Most of the research was made in brazil
