Where can Huyglas be used? High Temperature: F, with excursions to F Where the conditions risk chemical attack. Very fine particulate High efficiency requirements:
Huyglas Improvement Needled fibers must adhere to the woven support fabric Typical end-of-life is delamination of the felt from the support fabric Fiber abrasion by the cage creates the delamination
The DuraFlex coating improves: DuraFlex resists delamination by: –Creating an abrasion resistant layer on the cage side of the fabric –Increasing the bond strength between the felt fibers and the support fabric Providing longer bag life to the end user.
Showing the DuraFlex difference: –The difference in bond strength. –View the following photos :

Conclusions : The DuraFlex coating applied to Huyglas fabric provides: Increased protection from abrasion. Stronger bonding of the batt fiber to scrim Ultimately, longer baglife.
