Programme CZ 11 Draft essential document – the Blue Book priority areas - to avoid overlap with the EU structural funds but synergy effect - to avoid overlap with MoH priority areas of support, - health care sectors which are underfinanced and not paid sufficient attention to. - MoH expert analysis defined the priority areas in accordance with the Health strategies 2 main priority areas: o Psychiatric care o Health care for children

Context of the Programme CZ 11 related to the health strategies in the Czech Republic 1.Psychiatric care -The Concept of Psychiatry (2008) -The document "Strategy of mental health care reform" – 10/2013 (now being updated) -The document "National Plan of care for people with mental illness" - strategy implementation - transformation to the tactical plan, communication, coordination, ensuring and allocation of resources, strategies adaptation -Strategy Implementation - implementation of individual projects ensuring the achievement of results - to 2020

Context of the Programme CZ 11 related to the health strategies in the Czech Republic 2.Health Care for Children – child injuries -The National Action Plan for Child Injury Prevention for Sporadic and unsystematic preventive activities contributed to the injuries reduction, but the impact of these activities was not very effective without centralization and systematization. -Coordinating Centre on voluntary basis, was not established oficially -National Coordinating Centre for the Prevention of Injury, Violence and Child Safety Support will become the coordination unit and will collect and distribute the information about the child injuries, provide the methodology and ensure the programmes of primary and secondary prevention

Context of the Programme CZ 11 related to the health strategies in the Czech Republic 2.Health Care for Children – Secondary prevention of the after effects of the diseases and health problems in the child -Follow up care in perinatology centers -Perinatology centers established by bulletin No 2/2014 of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic

Context of the Programme CZ 11 related to the health strategies in the Czech Republic 2.Health Care for Children – rare diseases -National Strategy for Rare Diseases (RD) for 2010–2020 -served as a base for the rare diseases concept -Coordinating Centre on voluntary basis, was not established officially -National Coordinating Centre for Rare Diseases will be established and will coordinate RD policies in the Czech Republic involving establishment of early diagnosis of RD, coordination of RD registry activities, awareness building amongst health care professionals and general population, and collaboration with patient support groups.
