Reading the Career Cluster Chart Career Pathway within the Cluster Career Cluster Related MS Courses A concentrator has earned four or more technical credits in a Career Cluster, at least one of which is a completer (*). The student may earn all four from the foundation courses or three from a foundation and one from enhancement courses. Courses are arranged horizontally by recommended sequence. Action Steps – High School 1. Using the NC Career Clusters document located in C-MAPP for your content area, identify the clusters that you currently offer at your school. 2. Determine which career clusters allow students to earn CTE Concentrator status (see definitions) in your content area. 3. Examine career clusters within your content area in order to identify courses that could be offered for students to achieve CTE Concentrator status.
