Mayan Kings!!!!!! Upon a death of a Mayan King,there is usually war and bloodshed for the next in throne. However this did not happen once. Why? When King Pacal died on the battlefield the people of his kingdom suggested a new king-who was a young prince. Also his name was Pacal, and was 12 years old. WOW!! King Pacal constructed the largest stepped pyramid of Mesoamerica in the city of Palenque.Fact: Also a jade mask was found in King Pacal’s tomb.

Mayan slavery!! Slaves were hard working mayans.They were usually orphans, war prisoners, criminals, or the children of slaves. Did you know that slaves built this all by themselves? They were at the at the bottom of the levels. Kings were at the top, then slaves were at the bottom.
