BioSense 2.0  BioSense is a nationwide collaborative system for protecting and improving population health by providing timely information for better decision-making.  Components of BioSense  Software  Platform  Governance  Community

BioSense Organization Roles  CDC – BioSense 2.0 Program  RTI – Direct subcontractor of the BioSense 2.0 development  Epidemico – RTI contractor focusing on the front-end interface  Northrup Grumman  Governance Group – Advice and recommendations to CDC on development of BioSense 2.0  ASTHO – Facilitator of Data Use Agreements and the Governance Group, and purchasing the Amazon Web Services Gov Cloud  CSTE – Facilitated the recruitment of states and territories  ISDS – Subject matter expertise  NACCHO – Facilitated the recruitment of counties and cities
