TRUE COLORS Identifying Leadership Styles

◦ All assignments given this week are to be turned in no later than Friday, 11/6/15. I will not accept projects after this date. ◦ There will be a Lord of the Flies book quiz on Friday, 11/6/15. The completed study guide is due on Friday, as well. I will not accept the study guide after Friday, 11/6/15.

Quick Write ◦ For 1 minute to do a quick write… At this moment, what are your plans when you graduate? What have you done so far to achieve this goal? What are the things you still have to do to achieve your goal?

Identifying Your Leadership Style… ◦ You will have 1 minute to check (  ) 10 characteristics that best describe you. Make check marks in the column to the left of each word. ◦ Now, prioritize these characteristics using the “Priority No. column; 10 being the most like you and 1 being the least like you. ◦ Now, find out which style this is. When I show you the next slide, find the characteristics you marked and write the color in the right-hand column. ◦ Tally which color you had more of. If you had equal number, use the priority number and add how much of each color you had. For example if your first three choices were orange you would add 10, 9, and 8 together to have a score of 27 for orange, etc.

Group Discussion ◦ Review each color as a group. ◦ Then, List careers that each color would enjoy doing. Try to list at least 10 for each color.
