MEETING WITH STUDENTS ON LDV MOBILITIES AND INTERNSHIPS ABROAD IES FENE,

OBJECTIVES OF THE MEETING Make students aware about the importance of travelling to other European countries to learn and live new and enriching experiences, not only from a professional but also from a personal point of view. In this particular case, we are focusing on LdV Mobilities and Erasmus + ( Key Action 1) Tell them about the different steps to be taken when they have already been selected to take part in an internship abroad ( required documents, looking for accomodation, etc) Inform them about the language course they will have to do here, in the country of origin, before starting the internship period and also about the language and culture course they will have to do in the host country to learn the basics of its language and culture. Tell them about the internship period abroad ( about the enterprise, the process of monitoring their work there, documents to be filled in, internship programme, attendance register, reports, and so on) Make the students know that, after the internship period abroad, they will have to write a report ( for example, a word document, a ppt presentation, a video or a web page) about the experience they have lived. Make the students become familiar with the website of the project SKILL4U:

PEOPLE AT THE MEETING Students in the school interested in participating in an internship abroad this year and studying vocational training in the different families offered by the school ( motor vehicles electromechanical maintenance, welding, machining and heating and cooling) The tutors of these students Two former students to talk about their experience Representatives of the managing team at school Teachers involved in European programmes at school

SPECIAL COLLABORATORS In the meeting we had the collaboration of two former students that visited us to tell the students about their experience in Katowice ( Poland) and answer their questions and their doubts about anything related to the internship period abroad from their own perspective.
