2011 Section Most Important Accomplishments Teaming up with local Quad Cities Engineering and Science Council (QCESC) in funding scholarships for STEM-related activities. Providing interesting tours of local manufacturing facilities such as Rock Island Arsenal and Alcoa. Providing technical seminar on Overhead System Condition Assessment and Maintenance (PES). 12/26/20152

2011 Section Most Important Accomplishments (cont.) Providing social and networking opportunities such as GOLD-sponsored baseball game. Working with local library to obtain Public Library Grant offered through Chicago Section IEEE 12/26/20153

R4 Can Most Help My Section By… Increasing member benefits awareness –In order to retain/grow membership, people need to understand what IEEE can offer Improved communication to executive committee (especially new members) about what IEEE does, how it is structured (IEEE- USA, PACE, GOLD, Regions, Sections, Societies, etc.), explanation of board member responsibilities, etc. 12/26/20154
