Air Head Critters Creative Inventions and Robotics

Many moons into the future, lived a crew of colorful, creative critters.

These advanced humanoids evolved from the piles of garbage left by a world full of uncivilized, nat-brained humans.

Build-It-Yourself crew members are on a mission to morph premium quality junk into a new generation of super hero-oids.

You’ll need these tools: Scissors Ruler Black Sharpie Pen Red, Green, Blue pencils Scotch Tape Glue Gun

And you’ll need some premium quality junk: Pipe Cleaners 2”x4” sheets of paper Cloth Beads Nuts Rocks Corks Feathers Yarn Foamies

You will be able to experiment with many creative possibilities if you make all the parts for your critter before you glue or tape them together.

From a cylinder shape.

1.First draw a face and color the hair. 2.Cut slits in the top so you can bend the hair. 1½” 4” Cut Hair

3.Wrap the paper to form a cylinder. Tape Pipe Cleaner 4.Tape a 6” pipe cleaner to the head. This will be the neck. 5.Wind the pipe cleaner around a pencil to make a neck.

From a cone shape.

1.Cut a piece of paper 2” x 3”. 2.Wrap the paper like an ice cream cone. 3. Tape it. 4. Trim it.

1.Draw a set of BIG eyes from a piece of white paper or foam rubber. 2.Add a touch of color. ½” StupidGoofySurprised

1.Cut a piece of yarn 6” long. 2.Wind loops around your fingers. 3.Position the string sections 4.Tie the string in the center.

5.Cut the 2 loops6.Glue or tape it onto your head and give your critter a hair cut.

Cut hair out of two strips of paper. You generally get a more interesting result if you use 2 slightly different colors.

Feathers, pipe cleaners or wire can also be used for hair.

1.Wrap a pipe cleaner around a pencil. 3.This neck enables you to mount your head on any small shaft like a pencil. 2.Curl the end so you have a large area to tape or glue the neck to the head. 4.Also this neck enables your head to move.

1.Don’t be shy about exaggerating the hands and feet. 2.If you glue big hands and feet onto the ends of a long pipe cleaner, you will have lots of flexibility to wrap the arms and legs around your critter and make them move. Arms and legs for a large critter
