AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER A typical day for a Air Traffic controller, is waking up two hours before your shift which could be at anytime because you need people doing this 24 hours a day. It normally takes some string pulling to get a good shift. Once you get to the airport your working at you go to your post and start telling planes where to land and where to take off from.

TECHNOLOGY Technology is a huge part of air traffic control from guiding plans to talking to the pilots. As Technology improves air traffic control men can communicate with pilots making it less dangerous, and as radar improves we can see planes better and stop them from hitting things.

HEALTH AND SAFETY One of the biggest health and safety is stress. Having hundreds of planes with thousands of people in it, be partly in your control is very stressful. Also another one thou you are far away is attacks on the planes or the airports.
