QAR Required Actions District Improvement Process: Establish and implement a process to develop a District Improvement Plan that provides a strategic direction for schools, departments and services. The process should involve all stakeholders in the development and alignment of District and School Improvement Plans to the mission and vision and include system-wide, measurable goals for student performance as well as frequent monitoring and communication on progress to stakeholders. Measuring Growth: Establish a process for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of improvement efforts across the district. The process should include clearly defined measurable goals and the use of comparative data to demonstrate progress in improving student performance and system effectiveness. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a curriculum based on clear and measurable expectations for student learning. Components may include student performance outcomes, curriculum guides, concept maps, and common assessments. These components should be consistently formatted across the district.
