Students cannot see relevance of concepts to their lives. Technology Solution Relative Advantage Simulations, Internet activities, video-based problem scenarios. Students often find active participation in simulations and video activities to be more interesting, intrinsically motivating and closer to real world experiences.

Students need skills in working collaboratively, opportunities to demonstrate learning in alternative ways. Technology Solution Relative Advantage Student development of a desktop-published product. Address multiple intelligences. Students make different contributions to one product based on their skills and learning styles. Exploration, interactive and inquiry based learning takes place.

Students dislike preparing research reports, presentations.. Technology Solution Relative Advantage Student development of a desktop-published product. Students learn quickly how to create professional-looking presentations on any subject and they get great personal satisfaction in their achievement.

Students need technological competence in preparation for the workplace. Technology Solution Relative Advantage All software and productivity tools; all communications, presentation and multimedia software. Provide practice in skills and tools that students will need in our competent work market. Students keep up with the latest advances.

Students need quick access to information and people not locally available. Technology Solution Relative Advantage Internet and projects; multimedia encyclopedias and databases. Allow students to interact in real time, and to have access to rich virtual libraries. Information is reached faster and at a reasonable price.
