How can these programs benefit the ski area? Facilities and equipment purchased by the TCCSEA can also be used by the ski area for daily operations. Fundraising events for the TCCSEA offer community events to the ski area calendar bringing more awareness to the ski area through advertising. Parents are introduced to a new sport. Would not otherwise consider XC skiing and are more willing to try. Teachers and parents volunteer with class groups. Community goodwill. When a business has provided good service or product to their customers, the customers develop a trust for the business. They become repeat customers and they tell others what a good experience they had. That creates a business asset called goodwill, in other words the good will of the customers toward the business. Increased sales of season passes and day passes.
