2 Technology Assistants are needed for the Help Desk for next semester. Please see Mr. Gardner in room 306 if you are interested.

3 Are you taking the A.C.T. and want to boost your score? Sophia.org is a wonderful resource to get assistance with the ACT. Sophia.org has tremendous resources and are offering free ACT prep for students. There are full length tests, tutorials, and much more.

4 If you are interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in theatre at Auburn University, please visit the school in person or at their website http://www.cla.auburn.edu/theatre/http://www.cla.auburn.edu/theatre/ You can also follow them on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/auburnuniversitytheat re. You can attend Open House/Scholarship Day on January 31 in the Telfair Peet Theatre on the AU campus. During the Open House, you can tour the campus and the theatre facility, meet faculty, staff, and students, interview Admissions, Scholarship and Financial Aid representatives, and audition for scholarships.

5 There will be a Soccer Spirit Night at Chick- fil-a on Tuesday, December 16 from 5-7 pm. A portion of all sales will go to benefit the soccer programs so please help by showing your support that night.

6 The Baldwin County Community 30-Second Commercial Contest has been extended to Friday, January 9. If you interested in creating a commercial, please see Mrs. Beverly in the front office.

7 Donations are now being accepted for the USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. Acceptable donations are large and small toys and games, gifts for teens, craft supplies, and personal care items. The hospital cannot accept food products or homemade cards for patients. Many children will spend their Christmas this year in a hospital. Help to make the season a little brighter for them by making a donation. For more information, see Mrs. Goodwin in room 920.

8 The FHS Concert Choir and Women’s Choir will be presenting a holiday concert to at 6 pm at Foley First Presbyterian Church. Admission is free of charge.

9 The Swing Club will meet this afternoon after school. Questions? See Mrs. Goodwin.

10 Attention Foley Theatre Company Members: Ms. Andersen is doing 1 last order of the Foley Theatre Co. shirt for this year. See her to purchase yours prior to going home for Christmas break. $15 covers the cost of your shirt and club dues.

11 Attention all seniors, especially those graduating in a few weeks. If you would like to purchase your prom tickets early and at their lowest rate, please see Mrs. Champion in room 406 this week. Tickets are $15 this week and $20 next week. In the spring, they will begin at $20. See Mrs. Champion ASAP to take care of this early!

12 Seniors: Have you purchased your $5 handprint? See Ms. Andersen before going home for Christmas break.

13 Attention all Student athletes, it is that time of the year again for sport physicals. They will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015. More information will be announced after winter break.

14 Just a reminder if you are interested in being on the Track Team this year, there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, December 16 after school in room 906.

15 Are you interested in being a part of this year’s Tennis team? There will be an informational meeting for students and parents on Wednesday, January 7 at 6 pm in the library. Please plan to attend. Questions, see Coach Jackson in room 315.

16 The Annual Powder Puff game will be tonight at 6 pm Ivan Jones Stadium. The Lionettes take the field as the junior and senior girls battle it out for the championship. Tickets are $5 with the front gate opening at 5:30. Concessions will be available. Discount tickets are available today during all lunch waves. You don’t want to miss it! All proceeds go to Key Club for the Jesus Cares project to assist needy families with high school students during the holiday season.
