7 Local Governments - PTI National GIS Survey - PTI 1,156 local governments responded Partnering with Federal agencies –98% would let Federal agencies use local data for Homeland Security purposes –Over 95% will share data Financial and Technical Barriers –Over 70% need financial assistance –42% don’t have technical expertise Local governments are not spatially ready to support Homeland Security State and local governments want a more coordinated focal point with the Federal agencies.
