According to the Hebrew Bible: Abraham was born in the Sumerian City of Ur Abraham led the People of Israel, a tribe of nomads, to the land of Canaan

Mose s After living in Canaan about 100 year some of the Israelites traveled to Egypt due to drought in Canaan The Egyptians made them slaves

1290 BC- Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and back towards Canaan

Mose s Moses was given laws from God and these were know as the Torah Part of the Torah was the Ten Commandments, they set the laws for responsible behavior
