Most popular with 13 – 21 year olds. Lets you send video messages to celebrities like the Kardashians, the Janoskians and others. You can upload videos for the whole ‘keekdom’ to see, and let your fellow keeksters video message you back. Your keeks can only be 36 seconds long.

Snapchat lets you send pictures to other users. The person you send it to can only view the picture for 1-10 seconds depending on what you choose, and if they don’t screenshot it in time then its gone forever! Popular with iphone users

Twitter is a social network coming in at a close second to Facebook. It lets you follow people and celebrities from people all around the world and tweet whatever you like. Most popular with teenagers / young adults!.

Instagram is an app that lets you edit photos for free then post them for the world to see (unless your account is private). Most popular with budding photographers and young people.

YouTube is a video sharing service that allows users to watch videos posted by other users and upload videos of their own. The service was started as an independent website in 2005 and was acquired by Google in Videos that have been uploaded to YouTube may appear on the YouTube website and can also be posted on other websites, though the files are hosted on the YouTube server. The slogan of the YouTube website is "Broadcast Yourself." This implies the YouTube service is designed primarily for ordinary people who want to publish videos they have created. While several companies and organizations also use YouTube to promote their business, the vast majority of YouTube videos are created and uploaded by amateurs.
