Before this session XXX people interacted with the contingent on social media via Facebook, twitter and Instagram As you can image the reach of these messages will have been huge Rule one of social media “Don’t post anything you wouldn’t be happy appearing in a newspaper”

5 What channels should you be using?
Globally the big three are Twitter, Facebook and Instagram The all have different uses and audiences As we look at the channels start thinking how you could use them in your campaigns

7 What is Facebook? Facebook is a social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. The site, which is available in 37 different languages

10 What is Instagram? Instagram is a mobile photo-sharing application and service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately on the service, as well as through a variety of other social networking platforms

13 What is Twitter? Twitter is a social networking microblogging service that allows registered members to broadcast short posts called tweets
